We will meet up the first day 31th of august in room 618B.

Meeting time:
Meeting time will be 9-14 unless you are told otherwise.

Description of the elective course
This elective course is for you that are considering starting a business based on your own business model or those who want to further develop and professionalize their existing business.

The course will be tailored to the individual knowledge and starting point. We will work together with Growth Factories and FabLab Denmark. Here you will have opportunity to develop a testable prototype and get feedback.

Before the elective course start, you must write 1/2 -1 page about your business idea.
Who can participate
in the elective course?
The elective courses are organized for Danish and international students from Multimedia Design on Campus Køge, Campus Nykøbing and Campus Slagelse.
Students from other programs are also welcome.
Teaching methods
You will work with idea generation, feedback, opportunities for making 3D prototypes and test your own business ideas. The course will touch issues and concepts such as Lean Startup, entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, market surveys, business models, minimal viable product and digital marketing.

The classes will be based on workshops, with your ideas as the focal point.
The workshops will consist of the following elements:

1) Walkthrough of central models, methods and concepts.
2) Independent work with your own entrepreneurial ideas and business concepts.

4) 2 Workshops with Fablab Denmark __http://fablabdanmark.dk__
5) Company visits
6) Pitch and feedback from business people, advisors and teachers.
7) Exam

As a part of the course you will participate in “Fonden for Entreprenørskabs Start Up Programme”, where you will write a two-pager and have the possibility to pitch your idea in week 47, at “Danish Entrepreneurship Award” in Fredericia.

Here will the elective course be offered
The course will only be available at Campus Køge.

However, it will be possible to offer distance learning and joint excursions. Number of participants max. 20 students.

Exam
Exam date:
Friday 25/9 between 8.30 and 15.

Exam form:
5 min pitch (2 minutes to show the video, 3 minutes to present the TwoPager)
15 min examination
5 min votation
10 min feedback

The exam will be held with 1 teacher and an external panel from the Growth Factory, Erhvervsservice and Fablab, who will give feedback.

The exam is assessed with a grade according to the 7-grade scaling. Your performance is evaluated against the achievement of objectives and learning outcomes of the Entrepreneurship elective.
